Kompass Care provides non‑medical supportive services in the home. We create a care plan that outlines tasks and boundaries so expectations are clear for everyone.

Non‑medical Caregiving with guidance, structure, and compassion — led by a Nurse Owner, Certified Senior Advisor, and Case Manager

  • Personal Care Assistance (ADLs)

    ✓ Bathing assistance, grooming, dressing

    ✓ Toileting assistance and incontinence care

    ✓ Transfers and mobility support (within caregiver training and safety)

  • Companionship and supervision

    ✓ Meal Prep and hydration support

    ✓ Grocery and pharmacy runs (client funds/approved payment method)

    ✓ Appointment accompaniment

    ✓ Transportation options per policy and addendum

  • Respite Support

    ✓ Planned relief for family caregivers

    ✓ Consistent coverage for routine stability

  • Dementia-friendly care (non-clinical)

    ✓ Structured routines and calm redirection

  • Post-discharged support (non-medical)

    ✓ Routine stabilization, hydration/meals, reminders, home safety checks

    ✓ Non‑clinical observation and family communication

  • Overnight, Live‑In, and 24‑Hour Options (case‑by‑case)

    ✓ Overnight care – awake (continuous overnight support)

    ✓ Overnight care – sleeping (when appropriate and when overnight needs are limited)

    ✓ Live‑in care (multi‑day assignments; caregiver resides in the home)

    ✓ 24‑hour coverage (shift‑based coverage for frequent overnight needs)

    Live‑in and overnight services require additional planning and may require signed addenda. For live‑in assignments, a safe private sleeping area, bathroom access, and reasonable access to food/beverages are required.

Services not provided includes the following:

Diagnosis, treatment planning, or prescribing

Skilled nursing tasks (wound care, injections, catheter/ostomy care, IV, tube feeding, suctioning)

Medication administration (reminders only where permitted)

Physical/occupational/speech therapy (support only if prescribed and documented)

Heavy housekeeping, yardwork, home repairs, ladders, unsafe tasks

Financial/legal authority or acting as POA
